Just got home.
Apart from cresswellls absolute difference in class, it was the two youngsters that stood out for me. Pike was solid as you like at right back and wasn't able to get forward because a totally ineffectual maiga was in front of him most of the time. Samuelson was really class on the ball and better off it, constantly showing up and asking for the ball. The kids 17 I think. Confidence like that is remarkable at that age and in your first start.
All in al a great day out for the 25 quid it cost me. Would love to see Samuelson feature in the next Europa games.

One game is nothing to go by but when he signed I thought Henry would have a ways to go. Hopefully, I was wrong and he is still recovering. He did do very well at above the Posh's level last year but that was only two games.
Either way probably needs games to figure it out.

I was there and Samuelson was excellent. Good ball skill, can pick a pass and scored a good goal.
Could play Europa League now against the likes of the Malese.

Looked like they all needed the rrun out.
Have watched the Nolan/Collins goal a few times and cannot fatho out what its disallowed for.
Clearly wasnt offside, no one was near anyone so no foul, and no handball.
Definitely looked like a home friendly ref.

Great to see the kids involved in the first 3 games. BFS was taking us no where with regard to the kids + future development.
